Independent Affiliate	An Independent affiliate is an individual who has the right to promote BE's products and services, and in return, earns a commission after a sale is made.
Retail Customer	Someone who purchased a product or service but did not become an Independent affiliate. If a retail customer opts in to become an Independent affiliate, they are reclassified as an Independent affiliate and no longer considered a retail customer.
Sponsor	A Sponsor is someone who has personally sponsored you into their business directly using their personal referral link.
Placement Sponsor	A new member’s direct upline in the Binary Tree.
Direct Sponsor Line	Refers to an affiliate or customer you have personally sponsored, along with the continuous chain of individuals they go on to sponsor, extending indefinitely.
Business Volume (BV)	The volume generated when a product or service is purchased.
BV Allocation Path: You can accumulate BV in different ways, by sponsoring an active retail customer on:
(1) Entry Bundles & Renewals → Growth
(2) Add-on products → Add-ons
(3) Lifestyle Academy Add-ons → Lifestyle
PV (Personal Volume)	The total business volume of your personal orders.
PGV (Personal Group Volume)	The total business volume of your frontline retail customers or Independent Affiliates, as well as your personal volume.
Personal Group Renewal Volume (PGVR)	The total renewal volume generated from your personally acquired retail customers or Independent Affiliates.
Level	The position of a member within an organization.
Commission-Active Independent Affiliate	Sign the Independent Affiliate Agreement.
Generate at least 75 PV or PGV during the current cycle by either purchasing a product/service worth 75 BV or sponsoring a retail customer who does.
Commission-Inactive Independent Affiliate	An affiliate is termed Commission-Inactive when they do not have any active, directly sponsored retail customers generating at least 75 PV or PGV in the current cycle
Commission Period	The time between compensation processing runs. At BE, commissions are paid on a weekly cycle and a 4-week cycle.
(1) Weekly: Saturday 00:00 CST to Friday 11:59 PM CST.
(2) 4-Week: Four weekly periods (13 per year).
Direct Sponsor	A Direct Sponsor is someone whose referral link you have used to register in BE. This cannot be changed after registration.
Spillover	Occurs when your upline places independent affiliates or retail customers in your downline organization. All members sponsored by those spillover independent affiliates become part of your spillover organization.
Effective Period	The date or commission period in which a rank achievement is effective.
Team	Two types:
(1) Personal Downline Sponsor Team: level 1 users and their downlines.
(2) Downline Organization Team: An organization’s frontline users and their downlines. Teams are divided into Left and Right sides.
Rank	A title assigned to an Independent Affiliate based on performance. Two types:
(1) Legacy Rank: highest lifetime rank achieved.
(2) Paid-as Rank: rank qualified and paid for within a commission period.
Retail Customer Status	Active Retail Customer: A retail customer who has purchased product or services worth 75 BV during the current cycle.
Inactive Retail Customer: A retail customer who has not purchased product or services worth 75 BV during the current cycle.
Downline Spillover Organization	A hierarchical organization of affiliates/customers limited to two frontline positions.
Example: You sponsor Adam (Level 1), Adam sponsors Sarah (Level 2), Sarah sponsors Jason (Level 3), and so on infinitely.
